An announcement came this week from Bwin.party’s PartyPoker that the beta testing of its fast-fold poker variant “FastForward Poker” has been done.
This high-speed version of Texas Hold’em is now available for real-money play on the PartyPoker client via the “FastForward Tab”, at all No-Limit Hold&em cash tables with stakes from $0.02/$0.04 to $0.25/$0.50.
The new product is obviously highly significant for the company, which stated in its HY2012 Financial report: “Poker is a key area of focus and we are determined to return it to growth through execution of a detailed plan that includes pooling our poker liquidity as well as repositioning our flagship PartyPoker brand. We expect both initiatives to have a positive impact on our performance, along with our recently launched FastForward Poker product.”
The company also specified that its four-point plan to boost its poker presence includes improving the poker ecology, poker product innovation, poker network integration and the re-launch of the PartyPoker brand.
