Reports came this week that South Point Poker, which apparently strives to become the first Nevada licensee to launch intrastate real money online poker action, is hiring security and software development staff.
These include “poker investigators”, as well as experienced software developers, graphic artists, blog writers and customer service reps and supervisors.
So far, the company hasn&t announced any official date for the beginning of real money operations. At present, it is only known that the company plans to replace the software it uses for running free-to-play poker with its own proprietary technology when the real money action starts.
According to South Point CEO Michael Gaughan, “We are recruiting the very best talent to join our new online gaming company. South Point Poker has allowed us to not only create jobs in Las Vegas but provide new and exciting career opportunities for Nevada&s economy.”
