Ben Mezrich working on a book on internet poker’s biggest scandal

Besides a documentary film and a book by an online poker journalist, the Absolute Poker cheating scandal will be also covered in the latest book by Ben Mezrich, a successful writer of best sellers like “Bringing Down the House” and “The Accidental Billionaires”.

This week Mezrich revealed that the story of Absolute Poker is explained in his next book, due out next summer. It is actually about a group of wealthy American families who came together in a frat house at the University of Montana to create one of the most successful online poker websites of its time but it ended up with a bad reputation, leaving thousands of players unpaid.

Luckily for the writer, Absolute Poker and UltimateBet Poker stories are potentially best selling, so irresistible with plenty of colourful characters, technological skulduggery, astute player detective work, FBI agents and tens of millions of dollars in ill-gotten gains.
